La  determinació de resistències genotípiques als antiretrovirals es una eina de gran utlilitat en l'optimitzacio i seguiment del tractament antidretroviral dels pacients VIH positius.
El servei es va posar en marxa al 1999, i l’any 2002 el Servei Català de la Salut el va designar centre de referència per al test de resistències als antiretrovirals. En paral·lel a aquesta tasca assistencial, també participa en projectes de recerca i assajos clínics en col·laboració amb altres institucions i companyies farmacèutiques.

Serveis

Test de resistencies genotipiques als antiretrovirals mitjançant NGS.
Posibilitat de realitzar el test en mostres de baixa carrega viral mitjançant la concentracio de la mostra per ultracentifugacio.
