IRTA-CReSA offers the possibility of using both laboratory and animal facilities to perform studies (in a 1500 m2 working area inside a facility accounting with 4500 m2).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technologically advanced facilities to carry out studies with pathogenic agents that require High Biocontainment (also labeled as Animal Biosafety Level 3 (ABSL3) o Biosafety Level 3 Agriculture (BSL3-Ag) measures for their handling.<\/li>\n<li>Secure management of high-hazardous infectious agents including airtight isolation systems, negative pressure gradients, absolute air filtration and treatment of all generated liquid and solid wastes.<\/li>\n<li>The ABSL3 facility comprises working spaces dedicated to laboratories and animal facilities to work with small and large animals.<\/li>\n<li>Experiments are performed following strict ethical and biosafety regulations, providing as much care and animal welfare as possible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>The High Biocontainment Unit at IRTA-CReSA is one of the two nodes of the ICTS <i>High Biosafety Laboratory Network<\/i> (RLASB).<\/div>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","availability":[372],"facility_category":[95,59,60,98,340,366,360,338],"keywords":[],"class_list":["post-11349","facility","type-facility","status-publish","hentry","availability-mitja-en","facility_category-sal-altreslab","facility_category-sal-equi","facility_category-sal-est","facility_category-sal-est-especial","facility_category-sal-altreslab-en","facility_category-sal-est-especial-en","facility_category-sal-est-en","facility_category-sal-equi-en"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/ginys.cerca.cat\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/facility\/11349","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/ginys.cerca.cat\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/facility"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/ginys.cerca.cat\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/facility"}],"version-history":[{"count":3,"href":"https:\/\/ginys.cerca.cat\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/facility\/11349\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":11466,"href":"https:\/\/ginys.cerca.cat\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/facility\/11349\/revisions\/11466"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/ginys.cerca.cat\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=11349"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"availability","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ginys.cerca.cat\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/availability?post=11349"},{"taxonomy":"facility_category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ginys.cerca.cat\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/facility_category?post=11349"},{"taxonomy":"keywords","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ginys.cerca.cat\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/keywords?post=11349"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
