Laboratory of river dynamics and hydrological engineering
GINYS-CIMNE-001
Ernest Blade-Castellet
Flumen Director
The FLUMEN Institute is the result of the merger of the FLUMEN RTD group, which has existed since 2005 at the UPC's Barcelona School of Civil Engineering and CIMNE.
FLUMEN brings together the numerical and experimental experience of the FLUMEN RTD group in hydraulics with the extensive experience of the CIMNE in numerical methods, computer simulation and integration of decision support systems.
The objectives of the FLUMEN Institute are the promotion of RTD activities and technology transfer in the field of river dynamics and hydrological engineering.
