MarMetabolomics is the metabolomics platform of the Hospital del Mar Research Institute in Barcelona.
Our primary objective is to offer our expertise in metabolomics to scientific health-related projects. We firmly believe that combining different knowledge is essential to achieve robust results. We focus our metabolomic analyses on specific questions proposed by clinicians and researchers that have direct contact with patients.
Services
MarMetabolomics is affiliated with the Applied Metabolomics Research Group at the Hospital del Mar Research Institute, ensuring that our platform remains at the forefront of metabolomic determinations. We have the capacity to participate in all stages of metabolomic studies, including experimental design, selection of metabolic pathways, analysis of biological samples (plasma, serum, saliva, hair, cell cultures, tissues, FFPE…), data processing, analysis, and biological interpretation of the results.
Our metabolomic determinations have been included in publications in high-impact journals such as JAMA, Nature Communications, Clinical Cancer Research, Cancer Research, and Journal of Pineal Research.
