IRSJD Biochemistry laboratory - Amino acid analysis

GINYS-IRSJD-001
Dra. Aida Ormazabal Herrero
Manager
Our goal is to offer this platform for targeted analysis of amino acids in all types of biological specimens (plasma, urine, dry blood, cerebrospinal fluid and fibroblasts in patients, liver, retina, heart, brain, macrophages, other types of cell cultures, etc.)

Services

Determination of amino acids by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) in
different biological specimens, including:

  • human samples (blood, urine, cerebrospinal fluid, blood impregnated on paper)
  • cell models (cultures of fibroblasts, lymphoblasts or other cell types)
  • animal models (any tissue of mouse or other equivalent model) and zebrafish
  • by prior consultation, analyses may be carried out on other biological samples

Equipment

Mass Spectrometry System Coupled to Ultra-Resolution Chromatography (UPLC-MS / MS) for Amino Acid Analysis
