The InForest drone unit is incorporated into the Consolidated Research Group of the Generalitat de Catalunya (CEMFOR) and works with local actors such as the Corps of Rural Agents to develop the applications of drone technology in the field of the natural environment, forestry and biodiversity.
Equipment
- (New) Phantom 4 RTK + D-RTK Station 2 – Flagship aircraft, designed to perform photogrammetry studies with centimeter accuracy.
- (New) DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced – A drone with thermal camera, a key sensor for wildlife tracking.
- (New) Deep Learnging / AI / Photogrammetry Workstation: Workstation with the potential to work on large photogrammetric projects as well as train deep learning models.
