The 3D Virtual Lab located in the Miquel Crusafont Catalan Institute of Paleontology Museum building, in the center of Sabadell, aims to make a specialized human and technical team available to those organizations that require it in digitizing all kinds of parts.
The laboratory is equipped with the main digitization tools, including industrial computed tomography equipment and state-of-the-art scanning equipment using laser and photogrammetric techniques that make it possible to fully cover the needs of any client.
The laboratory offers a three-dimensional object printing service. High-resolution rapid prototyping allows any design made by computer to be made, as well as the models resulting from digitization.
The piece is printed using a plastic material with a resistance similar to ceramic.
